Islandman - Island5
A lucid dream carved from Anatolian soil and analog dust, Island5 is Islandman’s most intimate ritual of sound.
Written and recorded in a hand built studio space, the album captures a raw intimacy and collective ease: friends in a room, exploring frequencies rather than chasing structure. What emerges is a body of work that feels instinctive, physical, and deeply local, yet effortlessly borderless.
Each track offers a different angle into this reimagined sound. Analog synths mimic reed instruments, fuzzed guitars evoke forgotten tales, and percussion carries both the pulse of the city and the stillness of rural ground. Everything flows as if improvised, but nothing feels accidental.
This is not fusion for fusion’s sake.
Island5 is a renewal of codes, a textured, rhythm conscious, deeply felt anatomy of what Anatolian psychedelia can become when unbound by genre and guided by trust.

Aslı Gabuk - This is Love
Aslı Gabuk, whose live performance at last year’s FUTURE EAST showcases stood out as a defining moment, returns with a new single that captures her distinctive sonic world. Drawing from a background in jazz singing and composition, she weaves refined vocal techniques with electronic textures, shaping a sound that feels intimate, hypnotic, and unmistakably underground. The result is a track that moves fluidly between structure and spontaneity, offering a fresh and immersive listening experience.

Islandman - Cool Saz
Cool Saz unfolds as a slow burning ritual, rooted yet weightless, where organic percussion and warm, meandering synthesizers create a space between folk intimacy and electronic expanse. A calm, dark, and subtly surreal detachment runs through the track, guided by quiet musical curiosity rather than urgency. Acoustic textures surface and dissolve with ease, while the saz moves beyond its traditional role to become a breathing presence shaped by wind and wire. What emerges is not a fusion but a fluid state in which ancient gestures and modern electronics coexist naturally, unmistakably Islandman.
Islandman - Eros
Eros is a slow-motion collision of shadow and desire. Initially shaped as a rhythm-heavy sketch, the track dissolves into a mood-driven guitar meditation, dark, textured, and quietly intense. Its groove is understated, but its emotional current runs deep: sensual without spectacle, grounded yet dreamlike. Layers of bass, synth, and percussion blur the line between the corporeal and the cosmic. Eros doesn't tell you what love feels like; it suggests the moment before you name it.

Islandman - Adada
Adada is Islandman at their most kinetic, playful, sensual, and sun-soaked. Driven by warm basslines, intricate percussion, and layers of shimmering synths, the track opens a portal to a dream island where tradition and movement meet. It’s a dance track, yes! But one that carries memory in its rhythm and mythology in its groove. Joy pulses at its core, but never in excess; it's radiant without being blinding. A celebration of light that knows where the shadows live.
Islandman - Rüzgar
Rüzgar opens like a breeze but moves with deeper intention, part lullaby, part ritual, part celebration. Its laid-back tempo and sunny disposition mask a carefully crafted emotional balance: joy that doesn’t shout, melancholy that doesn’t settle. Percussive lines weave through gentle synths and guitar flourishes, giving the track a wind-like quality, always shifting, never rushing. It’s a song that smiles with its eyes closed. A feeling you can’t hold, only move with.
